In Egyptian carpet schools and factories, the production process begins with selecting and preparing the finest quality wool or silk fibers. Skilled weavers then transform these fibers into yarn by spinning and dyeing them using traditional methods. The yarn is then meticulously hand-knotted onto looms, following intricate patterns and designs. After the weaving process is complete, the carpets undergo finishing touches such as trimming, washing, and stretching to enhance their quality and durability. Finally, the carpets are inspected, packaged, and made ready for sale or export.
