If you're short on time but eager to experience the splendor of Egypt’s ancient pharaohs, our Cairo and Luxor budget tour package is the perfect choice!
Egypt is a land steeped in history, evolving through the ages from prehistoric times to the dynastic period, when King Menes united Upper and Lower Egypt into one formidable empire. This union marked the beginning of Egypt’s dominance and its profound impact on world history, as seen in countless Egypt tours.
In this 5-day budget tour of Cairo and Luxor, you'll visit iconic landmarks in Cairo and Giza, such as the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. You'll also explore the magnificent temples of Luxor, which were built by some of Ancient Egypt’s most powerful rulers, especially during the New Kingdom era. This includes the likes of Ramses II and Amenhotep III, who left their mark on these colossal structures. And, of course, you’ll learn about the legendary Queen Hatshepsut, who presided over one of Egypt’s most prosperous periods.
Welcome to the ancient lands of the pharaohs!

Welcome Drink.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting our representative to begin an informative day of tours in Cairo. Start your Giza Pyramids tour by visiting the iconic site, home to the three massive pyramids built for the Old Kingdom rulers Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, descendants of King Snefru—the founder of their dynasty and the builder of three remarkable pyramids, two of which are located in the necropolis of Dahshur. You'll also see the Great Sphinx, dating back to the reign of King Chephren around 2620 B.C., and visit the Valley Temple, where the king's mummification took place.
Next, continue your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where you'll discover an endless array of archaeological treasures, including the priceless collection of King Tutankhamun, a tiny ivory statue of King Cheops only 7 cm long, a granite statue of Queen Hatshepsut, and over 120,000 other artifacts spanning from the Prehistoric period to the Greco-Roman era. After completing your Cairo day tours, you'll return to your hotel and have the chance to enjoy a delightful Nile cruise dinner while watching a traditional Tanoura dance show.
A Cairo Top Tours representative will meet you and arrange your transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, our representative will greet you, and you'll immediately begin your Luxor excursions.
The tour will start with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, where you'll explore the rock-cut tombs of the New Kingdom in the Valley of the Kings. Afterward, you'll visit the remarkable Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, designed by the famous architect Senmout during her powerful reign.
You'll also pass by the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the towering statues of Amenhotep III, showcasing the ancient Egyptians' extraordinary craftsmanship.
After the tour, you'll return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll begin your Luxor East Bank tour by visiting the Karnak Temple—a vast complex of temples, sacred lakes, obelisks, chapels, and avenues. Its grandeur made it the religious center of ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom.
Next, you'll visit Luxor Temple, dedicated to God Amun, the father of gods in ancient Egypt. Located on the eastern bank of the Nile, this temple was built by Amenhotep III during the 18th dynasty and completed by the renowned King Ramses II. The temple is connected to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes. After your visit, you'll be transferred to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you'll meet our representative and be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you'll meet our tour leader and be transferred to the airport in an air-conditioned vehicle for your flight home.
