Itinerary
Today, you will arrive in Cairo, the vibrant capital of Egypt. Upon arrival, Cairo Top Tours will assist you with all procedures at Cairo International Airport and then transfer you to your hotel, where you’ll check in and settle for the night. If you wish to adjust any of the pick-up times on your 7-Day Cairo, Alexandria, and Marsa Matrouh Group Tour Package itinerary, please notify us as soon as possible.
Welcome Drink
On Day 2, after enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll set out on a full-day tour of the Giza Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara with your group.
The Giza Pyramids are a must-see for any visitor to Egypt. As one of the Seven Wonders of the World, these iconic structures were built as tombs for the pharaohs, though their mysteries have fascinated historians for centuries. You’ll also explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom (2686–2181 B.C.), and discover its fascinating history.
Next, you’ll visit Saqqara, a significant necropolis in southern Egypt, home to the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built around 2630 B.C. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to enter one of the tombs of the nobles, including the tomb of King Teti’s son-in-law from the 6th dynasty.
After a day filled with history and incredible sights, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

In the early morning, after enjoying breakfast in Alexandria, you will be accompanied by your certified tour guide for an unforgettable day trip. Alexandria, founded in 332 B.C. by Alexander the Great, has been admired for centuries as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Your tour begins with a visit to the Roman ruins, starting with Pompey’s Pillar and then the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, originally built as tombs for Egyptian nobles and later opened to the public. You’ll be impressed by the unique blend of Pharaonic and Roman artistic influences.
Next, continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Pharos, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at one of Alexandria’s finest restaurants overlooking the harbor, then visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, an architectural marvel and one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.
Afterward, transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to enjoy your El Alamein tour, visiting the site of two major battles of the Second World War between the Axis and Allied forces. Explore the Military Museum to learn more about the historic events, and pay respects at the Commonwealth Cemetery of WWII.

Upon arrival, begin your Cairo city tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, home to more than 120,000 artifacts spanning Egypt's rich history. Marvel at the priceless golden treasures of King Tutankhamen.
Next, continue to Old Cairo for a Coptic Cairo tour, starting with the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon. Above it sits the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, a Coptic Orthodox Church built over two towers of the fortress. You will also visit the cavern church of Abu Serga and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to your hotel for an overnight.
