After breakfast at your hotel, begin your Cairo Day Tours to the Giza Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara from us. Start with the Giza Pyramids and their surrounding necropolis, including the iconic Great Sphinx. Visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren, where the pharaoh’s body was mummified before burial, with your guide explaining each step of the mummification process.
Next, explore Saqqara Necropolis, which preserves some of Egypt’s oldest and most well-preserved pyramids, including the Step Pyramid of King Zoser and those of Unas and Teti. This complex was designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep, who built each structure for religious purposes to secure the eternal life of King Djoser.
