Itinerary

The tour guide from Cairo Top Tours will arrive at your hotel situated in Cairo or Giza at the crack of dawn, specifically at 6:00 AM, to introduce you personally in a private car to the Bahariya Oasis, which will take around four hours of driving. Upon your arrival, you will start your Desert Egypt safari tours by visiting the Valley of the Golden Mummies, one of the burial sites with a unique Greco-Roman influence, which covers the time of the merging of mummies of the ancient Egyptian rulers.

Moreover, you will visit the rock-cut Tombs of Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh and Bannentiu tomb, beautifully preserved twenty-sixth Dynasty Tombs of the Nobles in Bahariya, the most impressive Temple of Ain El-Meftella which is right in the middle of Bahria oasis, and the famous Temple of Alexander the Great who was known as Alexander of Macedonia who conquered the great Egyptian Empire only in his early 30s. After having a delightful lunch, you will go to check in at the hotel for a relaxing afternoon and experience the hot spring at the hotel.

You will take 170 Km off-road to discover the ancient civilization, and going through the Baharian Harra Village, enjoy the desert views, and have a delicious lunch at the base of the sand dunes during the walk. Following breakfast, your licensed tour guide will take you to see the Gara Cave which is known as the Djara Cave, a lovely cave made by rain corrosion within the limestone from about 55 million years ago. The cave has glittering stones. The water was able to eat away the limestone thus forming the amazing stalactites and stalagmites, artifacts and rock art also have been discovered here which definitely indicates human habitation in the cave during prehistoric times, most likely in the late Neolithic era. After that, an adventurous off-road ride will take you to the enchanting Valley of Agabat where you will enjoy the striking scene of huge rocks with stunningly white color on one side and the golden sand of the Egyptian White Desert surrounding them on the other side. Camping under the stars in this mesmerizing location for the night.

After having breakfast, you are going to do an off-road drive to Ain Khadra's boiling water spring where Ain Khadra is a very old water well that is next to the palm and is located on a hill that is encircled by ceramics that are related to the Roman, Coptic, and medieval ages. Then we will have our delicious picnic lunch and continue to the Santa tree (The Acacia tree) and drive within the limestone formations during our White Desert Tours that is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, Have a look at the white limestone rocks that are all completely cream-coloured, the figures of the sphinx, the whale, and the rabbit. Overnight stay in the White Desert which is completely covered with white chalk-like sand.

Today marks the final day of your fabulous trip to the Desert Safari of Gara Cave, and you will have a delicious breakfast before being driven back to Cairo through Bahariya Oasis, going past the see-through Crystal Mountains that are made of brightly colored rocks that sparkle like the diamonds in a crown. It is really one of the world's most extraordinary and most beautiful mountains that are worth visiting.
