Departing from Port Ghalib, enjoy an amazing day tour to the Giza Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara, which are among the most ancient sites in Egypt. You will be transferred to the Giza Plateau to visit the most renowned site in the country, the Giza Pyramids – three pyramids built to honor the King Khufu – Cheops, Khafre – -Chepren, and Menkaure, that were built between 2589 to 2465 B.C. You will be amazed by the genius of building the Great Pyramid, which was built on the Giza Plateau more than 4,500 years ago, and which dominated the skyline as the tallest building in the entire world.
Ride a camel and take some pictures in the sands of the Giza Plateau as it would be quite hard not to miss these enjoyable activities when you visit Egypt. After that, you’ll stop at Memphis, and visit temples and other structures belonging to the earliest period of ancient Egyptian civilization. The excursion proceeds to the Memphis Necropolis, best known for its famous temples and burial sites.
The last place we go is Saqqara — another large burial ground that is most recognized for the famous Djoser’s Step Pyramid built around 2630 B.C and its other tombs which give one an interesting overview of ancient Egypt.
