The first place you visit, the Karnak Temple precinct, underwent frenetic construction over its thousand-year reign with Pharaohs such as Amenhotep III, Ramses II, and Merneptah, as it was a prime location for worship for many centuries. Spanning more than two square kilometers, this enormous temple contains a large open space that is usually filled with music or dance performances; the famous Domitian's obelisk can also be found here. You will be able to stroll and contemplate this amazing location freely while taking your time.
After, you will check in to your Nile cruise, have lunch on board the cruise, and meet your private guide once again for the next highlight.
Your next visit will be to Luxor Temple, one of the most beautiful temples found in Egypt. This temple, which was built in the New Kingdom, is also found on the banks of the Nile and has an incredible architectural design, such as a hypostyle hall with columns carved like a large leafy tree. Luxor Temple is a temple complex composed of a number of structures for various uses dedicated to Amun-Ra, the creative god of fecundity over the ages.
Then, you will go back to the vessel for dinner and an overnight resting period.
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

Day two of your Nile cruise from Port Ghalib will also be very demanding since we are going to visit the western part of Luxor.

Once you finish the breakfast served on board your cruise on the Nile, embark on a journey to the Valley of the Kings; easily the most well-known site in the ancient history of Egypt, with some of the most beautiful and fascinating tombs in the country. This location served as a burial ground for several monarchs of the United States of America. The particular area is known for its limestone cliffs, from where the tombs have been etched and preserved very well. Prepare to find tombs that are intricately adorned with illustrations of deities and writing covered in painting. Also, you will have some time to explore these tombs yourself.

It was built for the integration of both male and female rule, and female pharaohs were a rare sight in ancient Egypt, there were only Thutmose I's daughter and Hatshepsut. This temple has some of the finest statues in Egypt; even Hatshepsut's temple is on a man-made hill. The design is very interesting; one can appreciate how it was constructed with so many pillars and columns creating a lovely impression for the interior.

To conclude the tour, we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive statues built by Amenhotep III that have existed from time immemorial. They were found inside the king’s mortuary temple but later moved elsewhere. These statues are currently among the 32-meter-tall figures that represent the nation of Egypt.

In the late afternoon, you will travel to Esna for a boat trip to Lake Nasser.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will be having your breakfast, and after that you will jump back to the Nile cruise, visiting two of the most important temples located in Egypt: Edfu and Kom Ombo, both of which have centuries of history dating from the times of Ramses II.
The first port of call will be the Temple of Horus at Edfu, built in 237 B.C.

in honor of Horus, the falcon-headed god who is considered to be the king of the gods and lord of the skies. Built under Ptolemy VII, this temple is one of the best retained in Egypt.

Edfu Temple lies to the west of the Nile River, an hour’s drive from Aswan, and is often referred to as “the temple of millions of years,” a name derived from the intricate reliefs found inside illustrating scenes from the Book of Gates—a prominent book within the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

After Edfu, the next destination is Kom Ombo Temple, which is an unusual two-fanged temple complex from the reign of the Ptolemies.

This edifice sculpted on the rock face serves a dual purpose for the cult of Horus and that of Sobek, which is a theme in ancient Egypt.
When all is said and done, you shall have some free time on your Nile cruise and then sail away until you reach the historically rich southern city of Egypt, Aswan.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You begin your day with breakfast on the cruise to embark successfully on a wonderful adventure to the awesome Abu Simbel temples.

Abu Simbel was built in honor of Pharaoh Rameses II's wife Nefertari as well as their son during the New Kingdom of Egypt. Four giant temples dominate the site and with numerous figures exquisitely carved on the rocks, particularly of the gods, Isis and Osiris as well as Ramses and Nefertari.

Also, it features a museum displaying the various objects and artifacts associated with the history and culture of Egypt.

You will be returning to Aswan on a southerly route after the Abu Simbel temple visit.
Meals : breakfast, lunch, and dinner

On the last day of your Nile cruise, yourself with breakfast, before you get off the ship for a few interesting stops in Aswan.

The first one is the High Dam built to control the water levels of Lake Nasser. The dam is a tourist site admired for its architectural beauty and the stunning views of the lake.

In addition, this time we will visit the Temple of Philae, richly decorated with the images of pharaohs and other gods. It remained under water for a long time but thanks to hard work it was taken apart preserved and reconstructed for the guests to appreciate its beauty and history.

The tour then proceeds to the Unfinished Obelisk, a work of Pharaoh Tuthmosis III dated 1450 B.C. Even though it was never finished because they ran out of the materials, part of the obelisk that was completed and eroded away received restoration in 1964 by UNESCO, explaining how the ancient people had built it.

we shall cruise back to Port Ghalib and end this unforgettable five days elsewhere on the Nile River.
