Start your trip at al-Paramus monastery, the oldest and most remote of the four monasteries, and then move on to the monastery of Anba Bishoi, where the body of the founder of the monastery is still present. Continue your trip to Abu Maqar monastery, where the monastery is the richest due to the 600 laborers employed on the vast farm that spreads in front of it and the presence of more than 100 monks. The smallest and most compact of the four monasteries, El-Suryani monastery, where your journey will come to a close.
