Egypt Tour Itinerary for 15-Day

Following breakfast, you will begin your first and most enjoyable tour in your 15-day Egypt itinerary, today you will testify to the most tremendous monument ever in the history of Egypt and the sole remaining of the seven wonders of the world, the great pyramid of King Cheops among the three pyramids in Giza Necropolis. 

Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus established the kings and rulers of ancient Egypt during the 4th dynasty when the kingdom was at its pinnacle. They stood in front of the huge Sphinx, which represents ancient Egyptian might and intelligence as a lion with many heads.

Have your breakfast aboard your Egypt Nile River cruise then you will visit the Valley of the Kings magnificent tombs of 62 kings of the new kingdom, then explore the Temple of El-Deir El-Bahari which was built as a mortuary temple for one of the most powerful Pharaohs of ancient Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut, the second female ruler and then you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the two large stone statues of King Amenhotep III who was the father of one of the greatest kings of Egypt who called for monotheism, Akhenaten. 

Sail to Edfu after lunch and enjoy dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise ship.

After having your breakfast, you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon God Horus, then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo.

Head back to your cruise to sail to Aswan and overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel.

After breakfast, you will tour the Aswan High Dam, which protects Egypt from the annual Nile flood. You will also see the famed Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple, which was erected for the temple of the goddess Isis. Overnight on the Nile Cruise Boat.

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will exit from your cruise and be transferred to Aswan airport for your return flight to Cairo. Our representative will be waiting for you to assist you with hotel check-in formalities in Cairo and overnight.

We will proceed to the Commonwealth WWII cemetery and the freshly erected memorials established by the Australian and New Zealand governments. You will see the battlefield and the World War II Military Museum. 

After your El Alamein Tours, visit the stunning Marsa Matrouh Bay on the North Coast for a delicious lunch before heading to Siwa Oasis, which is around 6 hours away.

After breakfast, you will continue your Siwa Oasis Desert Safari journey by seeing the remnants of the old town of Siwa (Shali Fortress), which has been slightly degraded. Then visit Alexander the Great's temple (The Temple of the Oracle) in the old Aghurmi town, which dates back to the 26th dynasty. Continue your tour to the Temple of Amun Ra at Um Ubeyda, which was created for the Amun triad's prayers. Then, visit the Siwa House Museum to learn about the culture of the Bedouin tribes in Siwa, and eat lunch at Abdo restaurant, which overlooks the oasis's famed plaza and the Shali Fortress.
Spend the day relaxing at Cleopatra Spring, where you may bathe in the beautiful natural hot water spring. Then, move to Fitnas Island for a spectacular sunset view.

Full organic breakfast at the eco-lodge, then start the Great Sand Sea tour you will stop first at Maraki village to visit the first human footprint that had ever been discovered at the great Siwa Mountain, continue our Safari tour in Siwa Oasis between the dunes till we arrive at the fossils area and see the rocky coral reef which dates back as far as the Cambrian period.

Ride to one of the interesting sites in the terrific great sand sea a beautiful lake of water in the middle of the desert with a good opportunity to photograph the flamingo birds, and enjoy a swim in the cool water of the lake in the quiet desert; bathing can be a very calming experience.

Next is sandboarding not as fast as snowboarding with the correct wax, one can zing down some of the gigantic dunes in the great sand sea and have energy to spare, taking a shower in the hot spring known as Bir Wahid to freshen up the muscle for the 40 degrees warm water, delicious Sun Set at the great sand sea in the middle of the dunes taking tea with Bedouin.

Breakfast at the Eco-lodge, then continue your Siwa Oasis tour from Cairo to the rock-cut tombs into the Mountain of the Dead ( Jabal el manta) visit the interesting tombs of the rulers of Siwa Oasis during the 26th dynasty like the tombs of SI Amon, Crocodile Tomb, after that tour to the Bedouin village of Abu Ali to enjoy the Bedouin lifestyle and see the one class school and other interesting aspects of their life and visit the probable Tomb of Alexander the Great and back to Siwa to visit Dakrour Mountain where the Siwi people celebrate the annual Tourism Festival of El Syaha at the first full moon of October. Today you will enjoy a full day trip to Alexandria from Cairo, after having breakfast at the hotel, our representative will meet you to be transferred by your private a/c vehicle for an almost 2 and a half hours drive to the city that is known as the shining pearl of the Mediterranean, Alexandria city which was founded in the year 332 B.C by the famous Macedonian commander Alexander the Great who tried to save Egypt from the oppression of the Persian Empire, and that happened after he was welcomed by the Egyptians and built this beautiful city to be the capital for Egypt.

Upon arrival, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and Pompey’s Pillar two of the most important Greco-Roman sites in Alexandria, Pompey's Pillar was wrongly named during the medieval ages and it is considered the highest pillar in Egypt.

Then you are going to be transferred to the next site which is the Citadel of Qaitbay, built by the Mamluk king Qaietbay in 1477 to protect the Egyptian borders against the Ottoman threat, the Citadel is built on the same site as the ancient Lighthouse Pharos of Alexandria.

take an enjoyable fresh seafood lunch or you can have other options like chicken or mixed grill, then your guide will take you to visit the famous Bibliotheca of Alexandria, which was built after an international design competition to correspond with the glory and fame of the ancient one. Today the library stands like the sun of knowledge rising from the Mediterranean.
