13 Days Tour Itinerary in Egypt

Enjoy your delicious breakfast at your hotel in the early morning, then get ready to be accompanied by your tour guide to the Giza Plateau and relish the tour to Giza Pyramids of Cheops, built over 30 years by the hands of 100000 men and it is considered the largest between the three Pyramids of Giza. Behind it, you will see the pyramids of Chephren and the third pyramid of Mykerinus, The Great Sphinx made by king Chephren to be the guardian of the necropolis, and the only preserved Valley Temple in Giza.

You will head to the old area in Cairo to enjoy a Coptic Cairo tour and visit The Hanging Church, which was built above the ruins of the old Roman fortress of Babylon, the Church of St Sergius or Abu Serga church, in addition to Ben Ezra Synagogue, which used to be a Coptic church then it was converted into a Jewish synagogue in 882 A.D.

Take a rest and enjoy your lunch in an oriental restaurant. After that, we will resume Cairo day tours to The Egyptian Museum, which was opened in 1902 as the first antiquities museum in Cairo.

Finally, you will be taken to the oldest bazaar in Cairo for an amazing shopping experience in the Khan El Khalili market.

You will be transferred back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

At 06:00 AM, take your breakfast and check out to start your Egypt Desert Safari Trips, you will meet Cairo Top Tours representative and travel by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis about 4 hours drive from Cairo. Upon arrival, visit the Museum of Golden Mummies, the Tombs of the Nobles or regional rulers of Bahariya in ancient times, the temple of Alexander The Great, and the Temple of Meftlla dedicated to the gods of the desert.

Your tasty lunch will be served in a Bedouin-style restaurant, after that we will go to the hotel to check in and spend the afternoon at leisure.

You will start climbing the black mountain by a 4-wheel drive before the sunset to see the ruin on top of the mountain, “the English House” enjoying the panoramic view of Bahariya oasis during sunset.

In the early morning, take your breakfast then we will visit the amazing salt lake to enjoy the views and take very nice pictures. Experience the golden sand dunes and learn how to climb the palm trees like the locals and pick the freshest fruit of the season while walking through the beautiful gardens. Start the tour to White Desert Egypt, our first stop will be at the Black Desert, a region of volcano-shaped mountains covered with large quantities of volcanic rocks, and the Valley of El Haize to the south of Bawiti and Bahariya. We will stop for you to view the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain Area and then we will spend a few minutes in the charming area of Agabat. Spend the night under the moon and the stars while camping in the White Desert between the beautiful white limestone and chalk formations of the western desert.

Enjoy your breakfast made by the bedouins and the morning tea-mint. After that, we will head to the oasis of Farafra, in Frafra you can enjoy the sulfur water of Bir Setah hot spring, and you will also visit the local artist Badr’s unique mud brick museum. Visit the old town of Al Qasr and drive from Farafa to Dakhla for approximately 3 hours to visit the Roman Temple of Deir El Hagar in the middle of the desert and half-buried by the sand dunes. The temple dates back to the 26th dynasty and was accomplished by the famous Roman Emperors. Visit some of Egypt’s most beautiful rock-cut tombs at the Roman burial ground of El Muzawwaqqa.

After taking your lunch, visit the old Islamic Village of Al Qasr dates back to the 12th century A.D, to see the old houses arranged in very interesting narrow alleys, the old oil press, the old wheat grinder, the old court, the medieval prison as well as an old school and an Ayyubid mosque.

Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool like a hot spring then visit the lush Dakhla farms uniquely invaded by the golden sand dunes and dominated by the clear blue sky to enjoy the sunset on the Edge of the Great Sand Sea with a tasty Bedouin tea.

Spend the night in Dakhla at Desert lodge hotel atop the cliff viewing the verdant village and embraced by the dunes and the beautiful pink rose mountains that Dakhla Oasis is famous for.

On this day, you will visit Kharga Oasis. Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to start your sightseeing at Dakhla by visiting Qasr El Labkha, a Roman fortress on the old caravan route the famous forty days road connecting Egypt with Sudan (DARB EL ARBEIN), and the Kharga museum. After that, visit the Roman Temple of Hibis & Nadora from the outside as well as Bagawat the oldest Christian cemetery all over the world with its chapels painted with biblical murals from the Old Testament still preserving their colors.

We will head to Baris Oasis, the smallest and the cutest of the Western Desert Oases. Visit the Temple of Dush standing in the middle of an entire flourishing settlement guarding the forty days road when it was functioning you still can see most of the elements of this Roman settlement like the residential area with mud-brick houses, The fortress, The Temple which is dedicated to Isis and Serapis.

Enjoy camping in the middle of the golden sand dunes in Kharga.

Onboard the Nile river cruise, enjoy your delicious breakfast and the Nile to continue your Egypt Travel Packages. Visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III renowned as the Colossi of Memnon, and then visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of 62 pharaohs of the New Kingdom including the famous king Tutankhamen and legendary Ramses the second, the tombs were cut into the mountain, decorated with fascinating paintings and filled in with treasures the Pharaohs were planning to enjoy in the afterlife. Make sure you will go to see the Temple of Hatshepsut well-known as El Deir El Bahary, the first female ruler in written history.

In the early morning, your breakfast will be served aboard the Nile Cruise, then you will visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic-era temple dedicated to the falcon-headed God Horus, Edfu Temple. Sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Kom Ombo built for the worship of the crocodile God Sobek. Your lunch will be served on board then continue sailing to Aswan.

After having your breakfast aboard the Nile cruise, we start Aswan day tours to the famous High Dam an engineering marvel and the most important project in modern Egypt, the awesome Temple of Philae dedicated to Goddess Isis and beautifully situated on an island. We can reach the temple by an enjoyable motorboat ride, then proceed to the largest known Obelisk within the granite quarries at Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk.

Take your breakfast then disembark from your Egypt Nile River Cruise. You will have free time at leisure in Aswan or you can enjoy an Optional Tour to visit Abu Simbel from Aswan by Land. You will be transferred to the Aswan railway station for departure to Cairo by Sleeping Train. Your dinner will be served overnight on the train.
