Itinerary

Once you arrive at Luxor airport or railway station, our representative will take you to your Nile cruise in a comfortable private van with air conditioning.

In the afternoon, you will visit Luxor's east bank. The first stop is the amazing Karnak Temple complex, one of the largest buildings ever built. The main temple of Amun-Re is believed to be the god's earthly home. It dates back to the Middle Kingdom, though there are references to older structures from the 3rd dynasty.

Next, visit the spectacular Luxor Temple, originally built by a 12th Dynasty king and later enhanced by the famous King Ramses II.

After a day of sightseeing, return to your boat for some rest and drinks. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show. Dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor are included. Alternatively, you can attend the Karnak Sound and Light Show that showcases the temple's beauty at night.

Note: If you arrive in Luxor very early, the tour will start as soon as you land to make the most of your day since cruise check-in is already handled.

Enjoy breakfast on your Egypt Nile River Cruise. Then, embark on a magical tour to Thebes, the sacred land, starting with the west bank of Luxor. Explore the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Theban kings and ancient Egyptian rulers, where pharaohs were laid to rest. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, renowned for its remarkable ancient Egyptian architecture carved directly into the mountainside. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, statues belonging to King Amenhotep III. Return to your boat for lunch, followed by a relaxing afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast on your Nile cruise. Then, your guide will take you to an exciting place full of history. The first visit is the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt's most impressive temples. It is known for being very well preserved. After visiting the temple, return to your ship for a delicious lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo.

Next, tour the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. After the visit, return to your ship. Spend the rest of the day on the terrace, enjoying the sun and the beautiful views of the Nile, the birthplace of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Dinner will be served on board as you sail to Aswan. You will arrive in Aswan late at night and stay on board overnight.

On board your boat, breakfast will be served. After that, your guide will show you the beautiful city of Aswan, including the High Dam. The High Dam was built by Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960. It protects the country from Nile floods and provides electricity. You will see the grandeur of this amazing engineering project.

Next, take a motorboat trip along the Nile to Agilika Island. On this island, you will visit the Philae Temple. The temple is from the Greco-Roman period and is dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of gods, especially the god Horus. The temple ruins tell the story of its rich history and impressive architecture.

The last stop of the day is the Unfinished Obelisk. Your guide will take you inside. It was planned to honor the god Amun Re but was never finished. This shows the skills and methods of ancient Egyptian craftsmen.

After the tour, return to the boat for a nice lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy tea during the boat's afternoon session. The evening is free to rest and relax. Dinner will be served on the boat during your stay in Aswan.

Departure after breakfast. Our representative will then accompany you to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo (breakfast included).

Optional Excursion: Excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel by private coach or domestic flight: An English-speaking guide will meet you in Aswan and transfer you by private air-conditioned van to Abu Simbel, located south of Aswan on the west bank of the Nile, 180 miles south of the First Cataract, in ancient Nubia. The site, known as Meha in ancient times, was first documented in the 18th Dynasty.

Explore the temples of Abu Simbel, commissioned by the renowned King Ramses II. The larger temple, the Great Temple, was dedicated to the god Rahorakhty. The smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramses II himself and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. After your tour, return to Aswan. Upon arrival, transfer by private air-conditioned van to your chosen hotel for check-in, relaxation, and refreshment, or transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo.
