Itinerary
Our tour leader will meet you upon your arrival at Sokhna Port to begin your tour of Memphis, Sakkara, and Dahshur.
You’ll start by visiting Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt and the first region of Lower Egypt, with its ruins located near Mit Rahina, about 20 km south of Giza.
Midday, you’ll enjoy a break for lunch at a high-quality local restaurant, where you’ll savor traditional Egyptian dishes and a soft drink. After lunch, you'll continue your journey.
Next, you'll head to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest known stone structure and the first royal tomb in history, built between 2737–2717 BC. Designed by Minister Imhotep, it is located just south of Giza.
Your final stop will be Dahshur, one of Egypt’s most fascinating archaeological sites, where you'll see the pyramids of King Sneferu, founder of the 4th Dynasty.
At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred back to your cruise at Sokhna Port.
