Itinerario
Once you arrive at the airport, the tour leader of Cairo Top Tours will be there to greet and assist you. You'll then be taken to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle. When you arrive at the hotel, our representative will offer you a welcome drink while helping you with the check-in process. You'll get to review your itinerary carefully to agree on pick-up and drop-off times. You'll spend the night at the Cairo hotel.
On the second day of your trip, a certified Egyptologist will accompany you to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, along with the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. You'll also enjoy a panoramic view of the Giza Pyramids, take photos, and ride camels. After lunch, your guide will take you to Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid Complex and tombs of nobles. You'll also visit Memphis, the oldest capital of the pharaohs, before being transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for the night. A sound and light show tour in Giza is also available upon request. Meals include breakfast and lunch.
On the third day of your trip, you'll head to the airport early in the morning to catch a domestic flight to Luxor. When you arrive, you'll be greeted and taken to start your luxurious 5-star Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile cruise. In the afternoon, we'll take you on a guided Luxor East Bank Tour to see the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor temple, which both exhibit the fascinating history of Egypt. After our Luxor day tour, we'll return to the cruise ship to enjoy a delightful afternoon tea and dinner. We'll spend the night on board, and you'll have three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
After breakfast, we'll head to Luxor West Bank Tours to explore the ancient rock-cut tombs of New Kingdom kings, including the oldest ones known. We'll also visit the famous Valley of the Kings, which has over 62 tombs from the reign of Thutmose in the 18th century during the Dynasty era.
You'll have an enjoyable and unforgettable experience touring the Temple of Hatshepsut and its mortuary temple, as well as the colossal statues of Memnon at the Colossi of Memnon Museum. While we sail to Edfu, we'll have lunch and afternoon tea to enjoy. On the cruise ship, we'll be served a delicious meal. We'll spend the night onboard in Edfu, and you'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
After having breakfast on the cruise ship, we'll head to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is one of the most remarkable temples in Egypt and has been standing since the Ptolemaic era. Later, we'll have lunch back on board and proceed to Kom Ombo to explore the combined temple dedicated to the deities Sobek and Harueris. When we return to the cruise, we'll set sail towards Aswan and enjoy a delightful dinner. The cuisine served on the Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile cruise is something you shouldn't miss. We'll spend the night on board in Aswan, and you'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
After having breakfast on board, we'll start our Aswan day tours by visiting the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the magnificent Philae Temple. The Philae Temple was the main temple for worshipping the Goddess Isis in ancient Egypt.
On the cruise ship, we'll enjoy lunch and dinner and spend the night in Aswan. You'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
You will be transferred back to Cairo again on this day.
Once you finish breakfast, you can leave the Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise and enjoy some leisure time in Aswan.
After you have been transferred to Aswan Airport, we will arrange your local flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative from our company will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo.

Meals: Breakfast
On this day, we'll take you back to Cairo. After breakfast, you can leave the Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile Cruise and have some free time in Aswan. We'll then arrange a local flight to Cairo for you and when you arrive, one of our representatives will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Cairo where you'll stay overnight. You'll have breakfast provided.
Our first destination on this day is the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. Visitors can see the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Tutankhamen, which are still intact and awe-inspiring. We also recommend visiting the Citadel of Saladin, which includes the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. It provides mesmerizing panoramic views of the ancient mosques, minarets, and domes of Islamic Cairo. You can admire the mosque's stunning architecture and intricate decorations, which is a massive construction.
We recommend taking the Cairo Day Tours to explore the Coptic area of Cairo. You'll have the opportunity to visit several ancient landmarks such as the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church suspended over its old towers, and the Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Cavern church or the holy family church. It's an amazing chance to witness some of Cairo's most significant and iconic landmarks with a knowledgeable guide.
On your Coptic Cairo tour, you'll also visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, where it is believed that the Pharaoh's daughter found Moses in a basket in the Nile. This ancient synagogue is one of the oldest in the city and provides a fascinating glimpse into the city's rich history.
As an optional tour, you can also enjoy the Sound and Light show in Giza.

Alexandria is the second largest and one of the most famous cities in Egypt, known for its Roman ruins, the Library of Alexandria, and the lighthouse. During the tour, you'll visit iconic landmarks such as Pompey's Pillar, made from unique pink granite found only in Alexandria, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
You'll also visit Fort Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress crucial for protecting Egypt and the Mediterranean shoreline. The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, from the Roman period, are another fascinating landmark. The Bibliotheca of Alexandria, an ancient library and educational hub, is also on the itinerary, as well as two historical statues—the Alexandria statue for the unknown soldier and the statue of Alexander the Great.
As you drive down Cornish Avenue, you'll cross the Stanly Bridge, a stunning landmark in modern Alexandria, and see the city from above. We'll drive back to Cairo and stay overnight in the hotel. You'll have breakfast and lunch provided.
