Your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will meet you at Saqqara Necropolis and chauffeur you there in an opulent private vehicle. Compared to other pyramids in the area, the Red Pyramid of King Senefru and the Bent Pyramid are in better condition. Our tour guide will pick you up in the morning at your hotel in Cairo or Giza to start your daily day trips to Cairo. Enter the Salah El Din Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque to begin your Coptic and Islamic Cairo tour. For a long time, Egypt's capital was located here.
The Citadel of Saladin was built by the well-known Muslim leader Salah Al-Din circa 1176 A.D. It is an example of Ottoman architecture in Cairo, having been modeled after the famous Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul.
You will be taken to another historic site nearby to see the Mamluk mosque and Madrasas of Sultan Hassan, the mosque of Ibn Tulun, which is the oldest mosque still standing in Africa, and the Islamic complex in Cairo that historians have dubbed the pyramid of Islamic architecture.
The Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrassa is a sizable mosque and madrassa that was constructed in Egypt's Old City during the Mamluk Islamic era. When the mosque was first built, it was praised for its remarkable size and avant-garde architectural features. Al-Maqrizi wrote that an-Nasir Hasan, a sultan with a brief and unremarkable history, had ordered the mosque's construction and that it housed various "wonders of construction".
Large mosques and madrassas in the Old City of Cairo, which is known as the Sultan Hassan Mosque-Madrassa, were built during the Mamluk Islamic period in Egypt. The mosque's enormous size and avant-garde architectural features made it special when it was first constructed. According to al-Maqrizi, the mosque was approved by the ephemeral and unimpressive Sultan an-Nasir Hasan, and featured several "wonders of architecture." After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the Baharyia Oasis in an air-conditioned vehicle and be given a tour of the area's attractions.
You will visit the 36 km2 Valley of the Golden Mummies, which was discovered in the Bahariya Oasis in 1996 AD. This museum is Egypt's largest Greco-Roman cemetery. More than 250 mummies were found in this place, the majority belonging to a wealthy class who lived in Bahariya Oasis in the Greco-Roman period.
The next stop, Black Desert, is a little to the north of White Desert and comes after the Bahariya Oasis. This desert got its name from the thin layer of black powder that covers the rocks, mountains, and desert. While you're here, you're going to have lunch. We'll then take you back to your hotel so you can spend the night there after that.

After breakfast, we'll head to the White Desert, which is a part of Farafra Oasis. We will stop for a rest along the way to see the Black Desert, which is composed of numerous Black formations and mountains heavily covered in old volcanic rocks. The Valley of El Haize, the final village in Bahariya to the south, is the next area we'll travel through. This is a perfect place to take a hot spring bath if you'd like.
We'll then take you to the stunning Valley of Agabat where you can go sandboarding and see the quartz crystal in the Crystal Mountains. Not to mention, you'll camp out in the White Desert for the night and watch a stunning sunset while your guides cook you a delicious lunch.

Following a filling breakfast, you will travel to the White Desert to marvel at the stunning white limestone formations, which were sculpted over thousands of years by the yearly sandstorms that blew through this area. You will also enjoy the hot springs there. Locals refer to these formations by a variety of names, such as the Rabbit and the Mushroom.
After finishing your tour in Bahariya Oasis, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo in a comfortable car.
