Itinerario
Our representative will greet you at Cairo International Airport when you arrive and will help you with passport control, bag identification, and portage. You will be driven to your hotel for check-in in a Private, A/C sedan from the airport. The Cairo 5-Day Christmas Trip schedule will then be updated to reflect the confirmed pick-up timings and any additional Cairo day tours that were requested.

Your day will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading to one of Egypt's most renowned sites, the Great Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. Located ten miles south of downtown Cairo, these pyramids are one of the last remaining wonders of the ancient world. You'll get to see the three Great Pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaura, with Cheops being the oldest and largest of the three. You can also arrange for an additional fee to enter the pyramids.
At the base of the Great Pyramids lies the Sphinx, which is believed to have been carved from a single piece of limestone. It's one of the most photographed ancient monuments in the world, and you'll have the opportunity to see it up close. Visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza is undoubtedly one of the most memorable experiences of any Cairo tour.
Afterward, the tour will continue to the Saqqara area, located 27 kilometers southwest of Cairo. Here, you'll visit the Step Pyramid, also known as the Djoser Pyramid. It's an important part of the pyramid development process, as it was the first structure made from simple mastabas to its current pyramid shape. It's also the first stone structure in the world.
You'll then drive to Memphis, which was the ancient capital of Egypt at the time of the unification of the two lands. Here, you'll see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great alabaster Sphinx.
For lunch, you'll enjoy a delicious meal at one of the quality restaurants in Cairo before being transferred back to your hotel. If you're interested, you can also opt for an optional Cairo Nile Dinner Cruise, which includes transportation, dinner, belly dancing, and a Tanoura dance show.
Your meals for the day will include breakfast and lunch, and you'll spend the night at your hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred by private vehicle to Cairo's downtown to start your excursions in Cairo. The first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, which is located in the famous Tahrir Square. Here, you'll see an impressive collection of over 120,000 Egyptian antiquities, including a rare exhibition dedicated to the collection of Tutankhamun's treasures, gold, and jewelry, which were discovered by Howard Carter in 1922 and kept in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
Afterward, you'll visit the old part of Cairo, which has a rich Christian history. You'll visit the Church of Abu Serga and the Hanging Church, as well as the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue.
For lunch, you'll enjoy some delicious Egyptian cuisine before being transferred back to your hotel. If you're interested, you can also opt for an optional Sound and Light show at the Giza Pyramids at night.

Transfer now to the Salah El Din Citadel with its magnificent towers and walls. You will visit the citadel and the alabaster mosque inside, which was established by the founder of Modern Egypt, Mohamed Ali, in 1805 in the Turkish architectural style, while the citadel itself was built in the 12th century by the famous Muslim Sultan Saladin Al Ayyubi to defend Cairoagainstn any threat.
Enjoy your tasty lunch before you continue your Cairo day trips to the area that glows from night until dawn, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, to enjoy your Cairo walking tour time and have the tastiest mint tea in one of the local cafes in the area.
Transfer back to the hotel in Cairo and stay overnight.
