Itinerary

Your two-day-one-night Cairo Short Break begins with arrival into Egypt, the land of the pharaohs and ancient history. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be met by our guide from Cairo Top Tours holding up a sign with your name on it.

Your accommodation will be transferred to you in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Then he will proceed to do the check-in procedure and review the program and activities to do in Egypt, in order to agree on the pick-up time for the tour to the pyramids of Giza the next day.

First night at leisure at your hotel.

Enjoy a very delicious breakfast in the hotel; then get yourself ready, for after checking out, your guide will be there in the reception to start the Egypt tour, and it will take you to the place where you can see the greatest pyramids in Giza.

You will find the Great Pyramid of King Khufu Cheops and the Pyramids of the great kings of ancient Egypt's 4th dynasty, including King Khafra Chephren and King Mycerinus of the Old Kingdom. You will see The Great Sphinx enormous statue with the head of the Pharaoh and the body of the lion. The Valley Temple, on an island overlooking the Pyramids of Giza, where the mummification of the Pharaoh took place, is your next stop.

After having lunch at a local restaurant, we head to the Egyptian Museum tour, which houses a wide range of ancient Egyptian antiquities made of different materials like gold, silver, and bronze.

Then, your private guide and driver will transfer you to Coptic Cairo to visit the old fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church of the holy virgin Mary, and the Church of St. Sergius, or as known Holy Family Church; it was built on the crypt where the Holy Family stayed for three months. Then, you will be headed to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was originally a Christian church and must have been sold by the Copts to the Jews due to paying the annual taxes. However, it was bought back by Abraham Ben Ezra of Jerusalem for 20,000 dinars.

You will then be taken on an Islamic Cairo Tour to behold the breathtaking region of Islamic Cairo. You can venture into the walls, gates, and old streets that date back to the 10th century. Furthermore, we will go to the oldest market in Cairo, the Khan El Khalili bazaar behind Al Moez Street. You can take shopping tours in Cairo and rest at the local cafe, El Fishawy.

Then you will be transferred to the airport or any preferred place in Cairo.
