You will enjoy an unforgettable visit to the Bahariya Oasis, where our tour begins with a four-wheel drive vehicle that leads us through sand dunes and open desert, passing several unique geological and natural landmarks, including Crystal Mountain, where you see shiny rocks filled with rare natural crystals that shimmer under the sun. Then continue to Wadi Ajabat, a strangely formed valley that includes amazing hills and rock formations carved by nature over millions of years.

Also, we'll explore Jabal Al Marsous, a dark volcanic mountain covered in frozen lava, and then continue on to the jewel of the trip: The White Desert. Surrounded by naturally sculpted snow-white rock formations that resemble creatures and statues, it's like being in an open-air museum on another planet.

As the sun sets, a simple and cosy camp set-up begins in the heart of the desert, where you will enjoy a delicious Bedouin dinner under a starry sky, in an atmosphere of absolute tranquillity. A Bedouin session around the fire with local music or a friendly chat, before an overnight stay in tents or directly under the sky for those who want a unique experience.

After breakfast at the campsite, we will continue our tour to other parts of the desert, such as the Black Desert with its volcanic hills covered with dark sand, and perhaps visit some springs or neighbouring Bedouin villages if time permits.

Itinerary

Travelling from the centre of Cairo by an air conditioning car to the depths of the Western Desert, where rare beauty and spectacular nature abound with our experience guide, will be an experience you won't soon forget.

On your first day in the Western Desert, our first stop will be Crystal Mountain, a stunning hill made up of quartz crystals that shine in the sun like diamonds scattered on the sand. We have the opportunity to capture images that will live in our memories as we explore a location that narrates a geological tale millions of years old.

We continue our journey to the little oasis of Wadi Al Hayez, which blends nature and history.  Amidst unusual flora in the middle of the desert, we will witness the remnants of Roman ruins and old wells. where sandy gold and green palm trees blend into an unforgettable scene.

Afterward, we'll head to Wadi Ajabat, which is indeed aptly named! Golden sandy hills and white and yellow rock formations in bizarre shapes, making us feel like we've been transported to another planet. Every corner here has a new scene waiting for your camera lens.

After a while, we arrive at the final masterpiece, the White Desert, which is renowned for its striking white limestone formations that stretch for miles.  The area becomes a mystical tapestry of hues and shadows as the sun sets, and the sky is covered in thousands of stars at night that are not seen in any city.

After a day full of adventures and breathtaking views, we conclude our trip with a stay at the cozy Sandros Hotel, where you can relax and have a delicious dinner, ready for a return full of memories that will stay with you for a lifetime and in preparation for your next day.

On the morning of the second day of our adventure in the White Desert, we will start our day with a delicious breakfast before setting off to discover the treasures of the amazing Bahariya Oasis and its unique archaeological sites, including:

 The Hall of Golden Mummies: Where we will be able to see a collection of stunning mummies dating back to the Roman era, with faces covered with gold leaf and delicate decorations that reveal the greatness of Egyptian civilization and its interaction with Greek and Roman influences.

 The tombs of the nobility, which are rock-cut tombs whose walls are decorated with inscriptions and drawings that tell the stories of the daily life and funeral rituals of the high-ranking people of that era.

 Ain El Naftla Temple, a small but historically significant temple, which was associated with religious rituals and fresh water sources in the region, making it a spiritual center for the ancient inhabitants of the oases.

At the end, the salt lakes, where the bright white color of the salt flats meets the blue of the water in a unique natural scene, giving you a great opportunity to photograph and enjoy the fresh air.

At the end of the tour, the drive back to Cairo begins and we will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, loaded with memories full of history, nature, and desert beauty.
