Itinerary

Your trip will start at the Cairo airport when our representative welcomes you and assists you get the right paperwork for customs and immigration. He will then drive you in our luxurious car to your Swiss Inn hotel in Cairo (or similare) after you have picked up your bags.

Then, we will visit The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also called the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, which houses a substantial collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with a sample number on display and the remainder kept hidden. One of the larger museums in the region is housed in this building. Since March 2019, the museum has been open to the public. It is planned for the museum to be replaced by the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. We'll have lunch at a nearby restaurant after that, and we'll drop you off at your hotel for the night.

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full-day excursion. You will be taken to see the most famous ancient structures outside of Egypt, the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza, first thing in the morning. About 4,500 years ago, on a rocky plateau in the desert near the Nile, these enormous stone structures were constructed.

Next, we'll go to the Salah El Din Citadel, which housed Egypt's government for many centuries and was the scene of significant historical occasions throughout Egyptian history. The Ayyubids, Mamluks, and some Ottomans all briefly ruled Egypt from the citadel. The only way to discover all of Egypt's other mysteries and surprises is to visit the country on one of our day trips. Salah El Din El Ayoby constructed it, making it one of the earliest Egyptian citadels.

After this amazing day, you will be taken back to your hotel by a driver.

Our knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up from your Cairo hotel and drive you in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to the western part of Egypt. When we arrive in Siwa, we transport you to your hotel, the Ghaliet Ecolodge Siwa.

A hotel breakfast is available. The hotel picks up its guests at seven in the morning. First up, the Oracle Temple, also known as Alexander the Great Temple, will be discussed. Alexander the Great is reported to have sought confirmation that he was Zeus' son from the Siwan oracle, Greek god of creation.

Next, head over to the saltwater lake. In the saltwater, you can float even if you're not a great swimmer. Take care when swimming and avoid getting any water in your eyes. Select the clearest lake; you'll know it's the purest when you can see the bottom.

Proceed to The Spring of the Sun, Cleopatra's bath, next. Stop for lunch at a Siwan restaurant and enjoy some Siwan food. There is a legend that Cleopatra swam here once. Proceed to the Great Sand Sea after that. 

Take a fun sandboarding adventure while exploring the desert in a Jeep 4x4. Here in the Great Sand Sea near Siwa Oasis are the best sand dunes in Egypt for sand surfing.

After that, take a dip in Bir Waheed's hot and cold springs and relax with some traditional Bedouin tea before setting up camp. dining and spending the night in a Swia hotel.

Once we have breakfast, we will travel to Marsa Matruh in a modern, air-conditioned car. There, we will check into your hotel, have lunch, and spend the night.

Once breakfast is served, our tour guide will come to your hotel and drive you to visit Marsa Matruh, a town founded by Alexander the Great on his route to the Siwa Oasis, which is situated on the outskirts of the city. One of the city's most iconic buildings, the magnificent Al Awam mosque, will be the first stop on the journey. The next stop on your itinerary is St. Mary's Church, which is located in the center of the city.

To find Libyan specialties, head to the Libyan Bazar. Visit the cave where the Mediterranean salt was extracted if you want to unwind. Because the body is so heavily iodine-infused from the cave, it absorbs stress, negative energy, and tiredness. A stroll around the city's streets follows the tour.

We'll continue on to Alamein after that. We go to the WWII Museum and the War Memorial there, which are replete with relics from the conflict like flags, weapons, and uniforms. There are images and locations of the battlegrounds.See the war memorials for Italy and Germany as well. On the way, there will be a quick lunch served.

Finally, we'll drive you to Alexandria, where you may check into your hotel room at Paradise Inn and spend the night.

After breakfast, our tour guide will come to your hotel and take you to the New Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), which has eleven levels of the main reading room and shelves holding eight million books. We will also see the Alexandria National Museum, housed in a former palace and housing nearly 2000 artifacts that tell the story of the city, including the recent famine, and the Roman Amphitheatre, which was a feature of every town in the ancient Roman Empire.

Finally, but just as importantly, we will visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, which houses the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse and was fortified in 1480 AD by the Mameluke Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay. We'll head to the Mahmoud Said Museum in Alexandria after lunch at a local restaurant. When planning your itinerary of things to do in Alexandria, don't forget to include a visit to the Mahmoud Said Museum.

Finally, we will take you to your hotel in Cairo.

You will check out following breakfast, and our representative will drive you to the airport in order to catch your flight to Luxor. One of our employees will meet you when you get here and assist you in finding your cruise ship.

Prior to visiting the magnificent Karnak temple, one of the most well-known and breathtakingly beautiful religious sites in the world, it is possible to visit the ancient city of Thebes. The complex of temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings was constructed over a period of more than two millennia. One of the most famous and well-preserved ancient Egyptian temples is Luxor Temple, which is part of the Karnak Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It was constructed approximately 1400 BCE and is situated in Luxor, the ancient Thebes, on the east bank of the Nile River. Thebes' patron deity, Amun, and his spouse Mut were honored in the temple.  Lunch will be served to you aboard. You'll head back to the boat for the night after dinner.

It's time to discover what lies on the West Bank of Luxor: the grand Queen Hatshepsut temple at Deir El-Bahri; princes' tombs in the Valley of the Queens; pharaohs' tombs in the Valley of the Kings; and the massive Colossi of Memnon. You've just finished your first meal on board on this new day. You will be taken back to your boat for lunch after your tour of the Theban "City of the Dead," where you can watch it sail away from Luxor in search of Esna. After dinner, you can relax and take in the sight of the Nile flowing beneath you.

While the cruise ship passes through the Esna lock, you can have breakfast and watch it sail on to Edfu, home of Egypt's best-preserved temple, the Temple of Horus. After dinner, your guide will take you back to your cruise ship as it approaches Kom Ombo in a stately manner.

Breakfast is served before you visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which honors the gods Horus and Sobek, on your final day of sailing.

Then it's back to the boat for lunch before setting sail for Aswan. You will be escorted to view the High Dam, the largest rock-filled dam in the world, and the Temple of Philae, which was relocated to the island of Agilika after Lake Nasser flooded it. The group has their farewell dinner on board back in Aswan.

Before you have to check out, you will have your last dinner on board the yacht. After that, a felucca will transport you to the Botanical Gardens.

Following the tour, you will be driven to the airport in Aswan so that you can board your flight to Marsa Allam. A representative from our company will assist you with your bags and meet you at the airport before driving you to the Akasia Swiss Resort, where you can make reservations and spend the night.

At Marsa Alam, thrilling quad safaris across the desert are offered. After being picked up from your lodging, you will be taken to the Sahara. Escape the busy city and marvel at the splendors of the desert. You'll eventually come to a Bedouin settlement where you might be able to observe some of the customs and way of life of the locals. Riding a camel over the sand dunes of the desert is an additional option.

Overnight at your hotel

After breakfast, we're going to get on a boat. We are going to see some incredible fish while snorkeling. We travel to a nearby island that has more ruins. You'll enjoy the boat ride, I'm sure of it. We'll then take you back to your hotel by car.

In order to allow you to spend the day traveling, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Allam and drive you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.

The hotel serves breakfast to get you started the morning of your departure. After that, you'll be driven to Cairo's airport in time for your final departure.
