Itinerary
On the first day, a trained representative from our organization will meet you at the airport and transport you in a private, air-conditioned car to your Cairo hotel. There, we will assist you with every facet of check-in and work with you to reassess your travel itinerary.
On the morning of your second day, we will pick you up in a private car to start your day tour of Cairo after breakfast at your hotel. The trip will begin in the region of the Great Pyramids, where you can see the Great Sphinx, King Khufu's Valley Temple, and the three large pyramids of Khufu, Khafra, and Mankawra.
You'll be taken to Dahshour with your guide to enjoy a tour of the neighborhood and see all of its landmarks before continuing on to Memphis after stopping for lunch at a nearby restaurant. When the day is over, you will be taken back to your hotel.
On the third day, you'll travel to Alexandria for the day. We will meet you in the morning and take you to the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which are located in Alexandria and date back to the Roman or early second century. You will love the location and its vibrant atmosphere.
As you continue your tour, you should visit the Castle of Qaitbay, which was built next to the location of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria and has a view of the Mediterranean. Following your tour of the massive Alexandrian Bibliotheca, you'll have a delicious lunch before returning to Cairo.
Following breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Egyptian Civilization National Museum, which showcases the richness and diversity of Egyptian culture throughout the ages. Our guide will take you to Coptic Cairo after lunch.
See the St. Sergius Church and the Hanging Church, which were built above the crypt where St. Joseph the carpenter lived alongside Jesus Christ and his mother for more than three months. The last building you will come across is the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was built before the ninth century and was converted into a Jewish synagogue after being used as a Coptic Church for a considerable amount of time.
When your trip is over, we'll take you back to your hotel.
On the fifth day, depart Cairo to begin your White Desert Tour, which also includes a visit to the Bahariya Oasis. The trip starts anywhere, just like with the majority of our day trips in Cairo. In an air-conditioned vehicle, you will get to Bahariya Oasis from Cairo in four hours.
You'll take a tour of the Golden Mummies Museum. The mummies and the remnants of an Alexander the Great Temple were discovered in large Greco-Roman cemeteries. You will also see the tombs of the local kings and nobles from the 26th dynasty. Ultimately, a visit to the Temple of Muftella, built in honor of the goddess Bis, will be appreciated.
Later on, we'll take you to an Oasis-style restaurant where you can have a delicious lunch of Egyptian food—something that should be a first for you. After that, we'll visit the White Desert for a unique White Desert Safari. We'll see the Valley of El Haize, a verdant oasis in the middle of the desert that comes before the black desert, on the way to Cairo. If we have time, we might even stop by the water spring there.
See the breathtaking formations and petrified wood at the Valley of Agabat, as well as the ancient quartz crystal formations at Crystal Mountain. Don't miss the thrilling sandboarding down the massive sand dunes. We will enjoy camping in the White Desert, where there's a great chance to see a breathtaking sunset, while your local guides prepare your lunch. Admire the stunning stars while you're sleeping at the camp.
You can watch the most romantic scene of the sun rising in the White desert when you wake up the next morning. Spend the evening viewing the brilliant stars away from the smog of the larger towns.
Breakfast will be served while you enjoy the amazing White Desert scenery on the sixth day. Following that, you will continue your Cairo Day Tours to see the artistic creations made by the surrounding springs and desert.
You will also have the opportunity to take pictures of the breathtaking white limestone rocks in the area, including the sphinx-shaped rock, the hill with a rabbit-shaped top, the chicken formation, and the whale-carved rock. When you are taken to Cairo thereafter, you will pass through the Black Desert, an area of breathtaking mountains covered in tiny black volcanic rocks.
We will make a stop at Bahariya to explore the picturesque sand dunes, the salt lake, and the fruit fields before starting our almost four-hour journey back to your Cairo hotel.
On the last day of your trip, we will take you to the airport early so you can catch your flight home.
