Itinerary
After arriving at Luxor International Airport and being greeted by your tour leader, you will be escorted to the boarding procedures for your river cruise in Egypt. Your trip to Aswan will be an opportunity to enjoy a unique experience, where you will visit many important cultural and historical landmarks.
You will start your trip with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, which is one of Egypt's great engineering achievements that was built to regulate the Nile waters and generate power. You will then head to Philae Temple to explore this temple built in honor of the gods of love and magic, Isis and Osiris.
Upon returning to the cruise boat in the afternoon, you will enjoy tea time on the upper deck and a welcome greeting from the captain. Later, a delicious dinner will be served at a buffet on board. To add a local touch, you will be entertained by a local Nubian band performing a fun entertainment show that showcases Nubian cultural heritage.

After enjoying yesterday's excursions in Aswan, you can enjoy your breakfast on board the Nile cruise. Afterward, your Nile cruise to Kom Ombo begins. Upon arrival in the city, your local guide will be by your side to start your fascinating tour of Kom Ombo and Edfu. You will stop to explore a temple featuring goddess Hathor, Sobek, and Horus. You will continue to Edfu with lunch served on board.
In the afternoon, you will visit Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples, where Horus and his wife Hathor met annually. This temple has been well-preserved over the years, having been buried under the sand for a long time. Dinner will be served on board the Nile cruise while sailing to Esna, and you can enjoy an Egyptian galabeya party before the pernoctation in Esna.

After enjoying breakfast aboard the Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise, your tours will begin in Luxor. You will visit the magnificent West Bank, where the Valley of the Kings is located. Valley of the Kings is a sacred place where 62 kings and rulers of the new Old Kingdom of Egypt were peacefully buried. It was also where the artisans and laborers who participated in the works lived in a nearby village known as Deir el-Medina.
We continue our journey to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahri, which was built to honor Queen Hatshepsut, who succeeded her father Thutmose I. There will also be a visit to the Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Lunch will be served on board the Nile Cruise, followed by afternoon tea, then a belly dance performance during the night to end a day full of adventure and fun.

You will start with a visit to the Karnak Temple, which is one of the largest temples in Egypt. It was considered a center of worship and administration during the time of Egypt's prosperity. Karnak Temple is connected to the Luxor Temple via Sphinx Street.
Luxor tours are not complete without a visit to the Luxor Temples, which were built by order of King Amenhotep III. Afterward, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport or a train station to head to your next destination.
