Greetings from Cairo! When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, the first stop on our 15-day Egypt tour, a representative from Inside Egypt will greet you and drive you to your hotel to check in.
Travelers will have the afternoon free to unwind after a long day of traveling.
The hotel's restaurant serves meals.
Before the area is opened to the public, we will take a 2-hour private tour of the renowned Giza Plateau, which is home to the Great Sphinx and the famous Pyramids of Giza. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities granted Inside Egypt a special permit, granting it exclusive access to the plateau.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving example of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, will be our first destination. The guards will only allow us access to the Queen's Chamber and the Subterranean Chamber, which are normally closed to the general public.
Our next destination will be the Great Sphinx, where we will enter its jail for another one-of-a-kind experience.
We will visit the Egyptian Museum after lunch at a nearby restaurant. The Egyptian Museum housed a distinct collection of artwork from the last 5000 years.
In addition to an exhibition of Tutankhamun's wealth, gold, and jewelry collection, which has been preserved in his tomb for more than 3,500 years, there are over 250,000 genuine artifacts on display.
We will then take you to your hotel where you can spend the night.

The legendary Karnak Temple Complex, the world's largest temple complex, is our first stop in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After enjoying breakfast on the boat, you will be guided by your tour guide to explore some of Luxor's most awe-inspiring attractions. Your itinerary will include:
The Valley of Kings: This sacred valley served as the final resting place for esteemed pharaohs and queens of ancient Egypt between 1570-1070 BC. With a total of 63 tombs, including those of renowned pharaohs like Ramses, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun, the Valley of Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Tutankhamun's tomb, in particular, attracts a significant number of visitors.
The Hatshepsut Temple: Built during the New Kingdom in 1479 BC, the majestic Hatshepsut Temple, also known as Djoser-"Holy Djeseru's of Holies," is a tribute to Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt's most illustrious rulers. It took 15 years to complete and was dedicated to the deity Amun and Hatshepsut's enduring legacy. The temple's remarkable Classical Architecture showcases exquisite artifacts and sculptures from ancient Egypt.
The Colossi of Memnon: These colossal quartzite sandstone statues, weighing 720 tonnes each, were created in the likeness of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC). Originally damaged by an earthquake in 27 BC, they were reconstructed in 199 AD. The Colossi of Memnon gained tremendous fame throughout the Greco-Roman Empire due to the phenomenon known as the "Vocal Memnon," where the sound of the wind passing through the statues created a melodic tone at dawn. Afterward, you will return to your cruise.
The remainder of the day will be spent on board your Nile Cruise, where you can savor a delightful lunch and enjoy the comforts of your floating accommodation.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Today we'll visit the Crocodile Museum, which houses mummified crocodiles, as well as the Kom Ombo Temple, an ancient Egyptian structure from the Ptolemaic period.
The night before, we left for Aswan. Experience a traditional lunch and a "galabeya party." Everyone dresses in a galabeya, a traditional garment that can be purchased locally or on the ship. Following dinner, there will be performances by locals and Egyptian musicians. Traditional Egyptian dances are open to everyone. This is an excellent opportunity to socialize with other travelers while learning more about Egyptian culture and way of life.
When we arrive in Edfu, horse-drawn vehicles will transport us to the majestic Temple of Edfu. Following the site visit, we will reboard the cruise ship and depart Luxor. The rest of the afternoon is free for solo activities. During this time, you are welcome to relax on the ship's sundeck and enjoy the sights of the Nile, such as the distant desert, lush fields, hardworking farmers, and quaint cities.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
The world's largest obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk, will be our first stop of the day.
The Goddess of Health, Love, and Knowledge is honored at the Temple of Isis, which is located on an island in the river and can only be reached by speedboat.
