The hotel's main restaurant will serve you a delicious breakfast before you meet your tour guide, who will take you to the Giza Pyramids on your first tour of Cairo. Start your sightseeing with Cheops' Great Pyramid. After that, you will witness the well-known Sphinx before being led to King Chephren's Valley Temple. After that, you'll enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum, the location of the most significant and unique collection of Egyptian artifacts, with the assistance of your tour guide and private driver.

The journey then goes on to Coptic Cairo, where guests can see the old Roman castle of Babylon, the Hanging Church—built suspended from its historic towers in a prime location and the church of St. Sergius, which is also well-known for its exquisite beauty. Sergius, also called the Church of the Cave or the Church of the Holy Family, is situated above the crypt next to the well where the Holy Family dwelt for about three months before drawing water for their supplies.

We continue our tour of Coptic Cairo by stopping at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Following lunch, you will be transported to the Islamic Cairo neighborhood to witness the gates and walls of the medieval city established by the Fatimid king Badr Al Gamali, as well as the ancient, winding lanes lined with brightly colored shops that date back to the tenth century. When visiting Islamic Cairo, you will make a long trip to Al-Fishawy, one of the oldest coffee shops in Khan El Khalili Bazaar, to have mint tea.

After an early breakfast, check out of your hotel. You will then be driven to the airport in Cairo for your flight to Luxor, where our representatives from Cairo Top Tours will welcome you and assist you as usual on any of our day tours or tour packages by Egypt. Afterward, you will board the Steinberger MS Minerva for your five-star Egypt Nile cruise or similar. Following your first meal on board, go out on a tour of Luxor's eastern shore to see the Karnak Temple, the biggest man-made religious building in the world and formerly the administrative headquarters of a massive empire that was the size of Egypt. Visit the stunning Luxor Temple as well.

After completing your tour of the eastern shore of Luxor, you will be transferred back to the ship and then dinner will be served.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet on your Nile cruise ship. After that, your Cairo Top Tours guide will take you on a tour of Luxor's west bank to see the two huge statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon and you'll also be amazed by the Valley of the Kings' necropolis. The pharaohs intended to enjoy their wealth in the afterlife, which is why the tombs are richly decorated with magnificent artwork, intricately carved into the mountain. The Temple of Hatshepsut, also called El Deir El Bahari, will be the next stop on your Luxor day tour. Hatshepsut was the first female ruler in Egyptian history.

After a pleasant lunch, you will sail to Edfu where dinner and entertainment on board await.

See the Temple of God Horus, one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples dedicated to the falcon-headed god, when you sail to Edfu. Continue to Kom Ombo and discover the distinctive Temple of Kom Ombo, honoring the gods of crocodiles Sobek and falcons Horus. Continue your trip down the Nile while taking in the luxurious comforts and stunning scenery on board.

After breakfast on the Egypt Nile cruise tours, you will be driven to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known obelisk found in the Aswan granite quarries, and then to the magnificent temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and beautifully situated on an island. The High Dam is an engineering marvel and the most significant project in modern Egypt. Returning to the boat, savor your meal and spend the night there.

Proceed to the Aswan airport for your return trip to Cairo after breakfast and disembark from the Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile cruise ship or similar. After being received and greeted by our staff upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be taken to your hotel, where you can continue your free time for the remainder of the day.
