Following the comprehensive sightseeing tours in Luxor, the guests will embark on a delightful day of exploration, beginning with a tasty breakfast aboard the Nile Cruise. Accompanied by their expert tour guide, the first stop will be the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the largest and best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples in the country, second only to the Karnak Temple in size.
The guests will have the opportunity to marvel at the remarkably well-preserved elements of this ancient religious complex, which continues to provide invaluable insights into the architectural and cultural traditions of ancient Egypt.
After the visit to the Edfu Temple, the guests will return to the cruise ship and continue their enchanting southward sail toward the town of Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, they will be guided to the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, a unique dual temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus the Elder. This temple, built between 1350 and 180 B.C. under the orders of Pharaoh Ramses II, offers a captivating glimpse into the diversity of ancient Egyptian deities and religious practices.
Following the Kom Ombo and Edfu tours, the guests will be served an unusual and delectable lunch aboard the cruise ship. Afterward, the vessel will continue its journey towards the beautiful city of Aswan, where the guests will enjoy a delightful dinner and an entertaining local music show, before retiring for the night.
