On the second day of our itinerary, we will be exploring the fascinating Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this ancient marvel is a must-see for history enthusiasts and architecture lovers alike.
After immersing ourselves in the rich history of Edfu Temple, we will make our way to the stunning Kom Ombo Temple. This unique double temple is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus the Elder, making it a one-of-a-kind experience. We will have the opportunity to marvel at the intricate carvings and learn about the ancient Egyptian beliefs and rituals associated with these deities.
Our day will culminate with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the significance of Sobek, the crocodile god, in ancient Egyptian mythology.
