After breakfast at your hotel. Lebanon has a rich history and enormous ruins, with the earliest signs of civilization dating back over seven thousand years. Today, you will go to Baalbek and Anjar, with a layover at Ksara.
Baalbek, located around 85 kilometers northeast of Beirut, is an ancient Phoenician city. You will tour the Baalbek temple complex, which includes two of the biggest and most impressive Roman temple remains. While at Anjar, visit the archeological site to learn about Umayyad history.
After a stop in the souk, explore the ruined temples as well as the walls and colonnades of the Umayyad Palace. On the way back to Beirut, take a winery tour at Ksara, one of Lebanon's oldest wine farms. You will get the opportunity to explore the hundreds of bottles housed in the caves-turned-cellars, learn about the winemaking process, and sample some of the exquisite wines produced here.

Afterward, continue your excursion to Byblos, one of the world's oldest cities. Byblos Castle, erected by the Crusaders, and the old Roman harbor are two must-see sites.
Finally, visit Harissa to see the Virgin Mary statue. This massive monument, 8.5 meters tall and 5 meters in circumference, is one of the most prominent shrines in the world worshiping Mary, Mother of Jesus. Before leaving, you will get the opportunity to view the Bay of Jounieh.

Tyre is around one hour's drive from Beirut. This city is one of the first Phoenician metropolises, with a multitude of historic ruins, including Roman streets and a hippodrome. Take a walking tour of this gorgeous city and imagine how affluent it was.
Continue your journey to the city of Sidon. The remains of the Sidon Sea Castle and the Castle of Saint-Louis (also known as the Land Castle) were erected by the Crusaders, as well as the spectacular Great Mosque. Later, travel to Maghdouche to view the Old Cave and the Al-Saydeh Ancient Church.
