The journey begins in Giza, where you will have the chance to see the more than 4,500-year-old Giza pyramids, as well as the great sphinx, which is shaped like a lion with a pharaoh's head on top. Our Egyptologist will also explain how these temples were constructed at the time.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, which is one of Egypt's most significant museums since it has the most extensive exhibits relating to ancient Egyptian history, will be our next stop after touring the Giza pyramids. This features some exceptional items that belonged to Pharaohs and their family, such as King Tutankhamun's magnificent tombs and the fascinating room of mummified animals. It also includes more than 100,000 artifacts from different cultures that have affected Ancient Egyptian Civilization over the course of thousands of years in diverse ways.
After that, we'll have lunch in Cairo at a real Egyptian restaurant. From this point on, we will visit the Islamic section of old Cairo as part of our trip. The Saladin Citadel trip will be the first stop on the journey. You may visit this magnificent citadel's "Mohamed Ali Mosque" and take in the fortifications while there. It is important to note that from this fortress, you can see the entire ancient city from a wide angle.
You will go to Coptic Cairo, the Christian area of the city, at the conclusion of this historical trip. You may see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Hanging Church, and the Church of St. Sergius also called the Church of the Cave, where the Holy Family hid during their departure to Egypt.
Finally, after such a program in the magnificent towns of Cairo and Giza, we drive you back to your accommodation.
