6th of October panorama

The October Panorama was established in 1983, to confirm the military and cultural cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Korea, to commemorate the glorious October victory, and to document the heroism of the great Egyptian people. It was opened on October 5, 1989, restored and developed in 2018, and then reopened again in 2019. The museum's goal is to document the October War, and the museum is a living witness to the heroism of the Egyptian people in defending Egypt through an interactive museum display using the latest modern technological technologies. This museum was built on an area of 31,000 square meters. 6th October Panorama is located on Salah Salem Street in Nasr City, Cairo, near the Exhibition Land metro station and next to the Cairo International Stadium.

The museum show. It tells the story of the Egyptian people's victory in the Yom Kippur War through a museum exhibition documenting the stages before, during, and after the Yom Kippur War through a variety of museum exhibits adapted for all age groups.

Reception Hall. The museum contains an illustration of the museum building, its annexes, facilities, and services. It is illustrated by a virtual mentor supported in three languages: Arabic, English, and French. A number of murals of the most important military battles fought by the Egyptian army show a range of holograms and digital displays. 

The showroom. This square displays Egyptian weapons, military equipment, and enemy weapons captured during the Yom Kippur War. The open presentation includes fluorescent and sound and light projector systems to deliver impressive night presentations on a circuit (Projection Mapping).

The panorama hall. It is a panoramic hall with a moving circular theater overlooking a giant oil painting and a war theatre figure, which tells the transit epic and is equipped with interactive sound and light effects systems.

The transit hall. It has a cinematic screen to display the transit process and embody the October War and peace negotiations through a graphic film on a giant screen to attract visitors.

Holdfastness Hall. The film Sumud deals with the stages of rebuilding the armed forces and the war of attrition after 1967, in preparation for the three-dimensional battle for victory with various effects (smoke, water, sound). 

Army Hall and People. It is one of the digital exhibition halls equipped with a circular screen with advanced laser effects and sound systems, featuring the most important contemporary events of the revolutions of January 25 and June 30, showing the cohesion of the army and the people in the defense of the nation and showing the most important modernization and development projects.
